Mobile Hairdressers!

For a start Hi Ladies.. I am new to salon geek :lol:

I am a mobile hairdresser, and have been two years now. I have a busy diary, lost the odd client here and there (obviously cant please everyone) but have also gained too so got a constant flow.

I am just looking into my prices and wondering what other mobile hairdressers charge?

Hi I think it depends where you are, Im on south coast, my basic prices are
£15 for wet cut
£20 for cut and finish
£35 for all over colour
£35 t sec foils
£45 full head foils
all colours include free wet cut

All prices ibc CBD, I offer group discounts of 5% , by group I just mean 2 or more in one house,. I have a credit card machine which I don't charge anything for and have no minimum amount.

colours inc cbd

I have a card machine comming for begining nov and been adviced to charge £1 on top of the bill, do you think this is reasonable?

And how much do you think is reasonable to put my prices up by?

With Cardsave, they've just been taken over by Streamline, the money goes direct into my business account. The beauty of mine is its multi network, as I'm mobile it's a godsend, lots are tied to O2. If you want more idea of costs etc PM me.

It's hard to say, you need to look to see what other mobiles are charging. Where I am in Essex they vary hugely, my prices are middle of the range. I reckon you could get away with charging more 20-30% increase, you might lose some clients but you'll just be doing less work for same money. Petrol is through the roof, VAT has risen, costs nowadays are high. Go for it! Xx

£19 roots
from £26 full tint
£30 1/2 head foils
£40 full foils
The technical prices are NOT inclusive of cuts though. Where i live this is prob similar or slightly higher to most other mobile hairdressers.
