Mobile Insurance

Hi again

Can anyone tell me roughly how much their mobile hairdressing insurance is, who it's with and what's required to get it please?

I have been away from the chair so to speak for a good few years now, have my old apprenticeship papers but have never taken any NVQs.

As I've had over 20 years salon experience, some of it teaching, I never needed the NVQs but somebody told me i won't get insurance without it.

Is this True?

Hi i'm with Salon Gold and pay roughly about £40 a yr, i rent a chair in a salon and do mobile They do ask for what qualification you have but my old boss never got a qualification, she trained but for some reason never qualified but like you she had lots of experience and when she opened the salon she went with salon gold and they were fine with that. I would give them a ring and explain your situation you may just have to pay a little more?
