Moroccan Tan not taking

So I have a clue t who had the 8% Moroccan Tan, she was super pleased with it but wanted to go a little darker, so at her next appointment I tried to10% but it didn't take at all. She followed the prep and Aftercare advice to the letter and did nothing different than the tim before. Last week I got her in for another try, this time it only lasted a day.
Any ideas what could be going wrong?

really light tans like 8% last for only 2 or so days because they are so light. As soon as you shower the tan gets lighter and so you look like you haven't tanned. Why not try the 10%.

Its not the tan but more so the shade is too light, she could have used soap in the shower also, this detergent will lift the tan. The darker you tan the longer it lasts. I done Morroccan tan 12% last Sunday and it still dark, I would get about 1-2 weeks out of it.
