Hi hoping someone can give a bit of advice.
I currently use gelish and have tried stamping over it and it never seems to work. Can someone talk me through the process please? Can you use the moyou polish over the gel? Do I need to wipe the sticky layer off before stamping? All the info I have looked at only mentions regular polish not gel. TIA.

You need to wipe the tacky layer, stamp, wait to dry, apply top coat

Do you use the mo you polish or gel on the plate to stamp?

You can't stamp with gel polishes in general. There is one exclusion here on the forum somewhere but I don't remember the name
I stamp with MoYou polishes, Mundo de unas and vinylux. Creative play are also very good from what I've heard but I've never tried it myself.

That's great thank you for the help

I always wipe the sticky layer stamp with B Loves Plates Stamping polishes and top coat with a gel top coat. As the Polish layer is very thin I have never had any problems. I wipe after I have cured to clean up the cuticle area.

Wipe of the sticky layer after the sec color coat, then but gel polish on the plate let it sit for a few sec then swipe the excess color off then stamp it on to the nail. I rather used nail polish instead because the stamping come out more intense color compared to gel. I only used gel stamping if am planning on added chrome or foil on top of the stamp design.

I use this for gel stamping

I use mo you on top of Jessica & Leighton denny gel and it works well. I don't wipe before doing it either. (Although might try from reading above) but been using for couple years with no issues
