She knows you didn't mean anything by it Suzi Q... nice to have options of course. Sue Marsh did a wicked job but it was yonks ago... I am sure the PINK is the fade and remnents of the old brows!:irked:

Thank you all for the funny and cool responses.

The Queen and I have come to an adult consenting arrangement consisting of a comfortable bed in Yorkshire and some SolarBalm. I can't wait!!!

ohh we need before and after pics samantha!!!

Just out of curiosity Kimmi how much do you charge for eyebrows? I am very blond and although i do tint them now and again it doesnt last long and i dont have very many hairs from halfway out anyway, i have to pencil them in everyday  I would love to have them done but ive had one quote from Karen Betts, no way can i afford it  so i was just wondering how much you charge ??? x

What is you skin tone Samantha? Usually, if they go pink, it's because they used a red based pigment on a red toned skin. I thought you were more olive? Anyway, it's the pigments they used.

When you down this way? Come and see me and I'll do them for you (my treat). I'll do beautiful hairstrokes for you. xxx

Kim darling :) Could you do a no brows geek if she is down your way lol

Hello Mrs Geek,

I'm a little behind my post's, it's a busy month for me as i'm off to Vegas nxt wk.

If you have had cosmetic brows before and they are showing a pinky hew, then it could be because the colour/pigment, the colour chosen for you was the wrong colour choice, it sounds a little on the warm side for your skin type.

Warmer colours on warmer skin types will leave a pink cast, cooler pigments/ink on cooler skin types can leave a grey/cool cast
there are ways to cancel these problems out, if your near the Midlands then you can PM anytime, I would be happy to take a look at your brows. If not then..It would pay you to take a visit to Harley St London Permanent make up - Semi-Permenant Makeup - Debra Robson Lawrence - London / UK LIVE DEMO ON LINE
Beauty editors fave technician for Permanent Cosmetics, in the industry for many many years, known as the safest pair of hands in the industry...OH and she trained me LOL so mention me if you do book with Debra

This is a very common problem in Permanent Cosmetics, technicians can be great a detailing but not so good on colour theory, there could be other reasons why this colour has taken a pinky cast.

It is funny how most clients worry about the end look being wrong due to the shape etc, but the hardest part to learn is the colour theory. When I did my training we were obviously taught about neutralising colours etc, but one other area is the after care advice. One of the reasons that eyebrows also go pink is due to sun damage, and I was taught that clients should use a good sun block on their brows when out and about in the sun.

So true............I always tell my clients that once they're healed, just treat them as they would their own brows but slap on some sunblock if going on the sun bed or out in the sun. xxxx

so I could be guilty of a little sun here and there :o and mine are most definitely pink... factor 20 on face and brows from now on!

Hiya,

As a PMU and Laser tech, I would only rec a 30+ plus block..daily underneath conventioanl makeup.

DermaQuest..solar moisturizer spf 30, all skin types. tightens aging skin and increases skin elasticity, and helps absorb excess skin oils.
There is also a product that is spf 15 for sensative skins.

Of course.........brows are my speciality. PM me. xxx:hug:

sam, check out nilam patel, she has a great reputation.

Sorry this is a little late.

If you had Nilam Patel you had the best Artist in the UK-Europe, possibly world work on you, there is no one who even comes near to her, all the others are not even close. she is head and shoulders above the rest, she does not work for nouveau contour, but helps them for training and uses some of there stuff, I knew her many years ago.

when all the people want real advanced, from all the other companies I know who they go to!

When she was in the USA she worked for Jennifer Lopez among others.

She has a team in Milton Keynes who are are S**t hot, she would only have the best with her. you would not be disappointed with the results.

I cant say no more really

Hi Sally Ann,

You have such alot of information on PMU, I thought that it may be an idea to pick your brains?

Have you ever performed the art of permanent cosmetics? If not, why?

Who is the best in your opioion, and why?

Who's work have you seen?

Who have you worked close with?

What's up and coming in PMU for the next year? what procedures do you most like and why?

What topicals do you use and why?

Have you had any experience accross the pond, the PMU and tattoo industry? If so, who's the greatest worldwide in your opinion?

What a fantastic job you must have working with the worlds most famous individuals...I'm sooooo jealous.
