My client wants henna-help

I have young client that first wanted to be introduced to colouring with dia light. From a boring 6N ahsy brown to like dark chocolate, very expressive brown. I did it 3 times in the past year and the shine, the colour looked very good. Now she told me she wanted to grow her hair and wants to colour the natural way with henna. I dont know a lot about henna, so I told her it wont be a very good idea, because you cant control that good what colour it turnes and also if ya want highlights at some point, you will probably burn your hair. And dia light is safe enough, I even put olaplex in it with a 6 vol developer.

I was wondering if the client messes the colour up or wants dia at some point again, how in hell should I fix it? I know you cant put dia colour on henna.

You can’t guarantee to fix it. You can try using products to remove metallic salts but if there’s any trace, the hair will fry.
Just make it clear to her that you can’t colour or bleach hair that has had henna applied and that it takes months to wash out all traces of henna.

If she really wants henna I wouldnt do it. Let her go to another HD
