Hello

I've been doing (myself) my colour for a while now. I do a koleston 8/11 and it comes out great!!
My only issue is that in 2 or 3 shampoos the ash colour fades and turns golden / slight orange.
I use 1 to 1 koleston with 20 vol.
I let it stay for 30 min. Minimum.

Why is the colour not staying for longer? I need to re-do my colour every 3 weeks at most.

The other day I discussed it with the hairdresser and she advise me to darken my colour mixing 8/11 with 7/11. I tried on a basis do half half but find it a little darker and dull.

Advices would be most welcomed.
Thanks

Sorry we can't give advice to pros. Especially regarding chemicals. I wouldn't advise you to colour your own hair. Seek a professional and have it done properly.

So you've been using 8/11 and 20 vol from root to ends? What's your natural base and do you have any grey?

I didn't know there was an 8/11 lol

Hello
Yes there is a 8/11. It was advised by my hairdresser and the result is fab.
N
And no I do mainly the roots and 10min all over

My natural color is closer to 7 or even 6?! Moussy by nature and have a few greys...

I don't understand is why the color doesn't stay. I take good care of my hair and apply lots of treatment cream from l'oreal. It looks soft and healthy.

Any advice?
Thanks
