Is it a possibilty that that we could state underneath our price lists that a rufund is not available after any treatments (sorry dont know the best way to word it) so the clients know where they stand before hand? Or is this a bad idea? :|

This has potential to be both a good and a bad idea... I like it though.

For one if a client was a serial complainer it would deter them from having the enhancements in the first place which means loss of revenue but in turn means loss of hassle.

It could also deter any client from having enhancements as they may think you are saying this because you do cr*p work... bit of a tough one really.

Ah yes i see what you mean Gilly. Then maybe a list of 'Salon Rules' to be given out along with the the home care rules for the serial complainers/nail trashers/pain in the bums. We could also suggest the rules about children attending, extra charges for ilregular maintenance appointments and so on....:)

Of course you don't refund hun, you gave the client the choice, and she chose the white tips. She will probably be used to them by Monday anyway.
She wouldnt expect to buy a dress wear it for night out then take it back would she.?
Explain to her that you cant refund her money, you will re-apply the nails but they will have to be paid for, you cant afford to give away free services like that.x

She sounds the type who would buy the dress and wear it then return it.. But as suzie said ne refund she had the choice. xx:)

It´s unreasonable from her side to ask for any of these things.
You gave her the option, she chose...so none of it is your fault.
So why would you have to do anything at all? It´s like going to the hairdresser, chosing a color, come back to say i don´t like it cause it´s not natural enough. give me my money back or do it again.....I mean come on.
Like they said, if it really bothers her that much tell her to wear a nailpolish to soften the white down. She´ll live trough it. :|

You got some great advice from the geeks here...I hope it all goes well today  Let us know how you got on with her XxX

Hi,
I can only repeat what other Geeks have already said........It was her choice....you discussed all options. I would ensure in future clients sign after their treatment......when of course you have asked them are they happy with their nails...They usually are.......it will be someone has said something when she got home :irked:.
Defo no refund.....defo nothing for free. Sod her.......it is your business - and was her choice.
Best of luck.
Lotsa luv x   x
