i would, even now, repair it!! (providing it's stopped weeping now). As long as you're dextrous enough to be verry careful when applying a form, then just place the form over and behind the sore bit, so it's touching the bottom of the snap - but after doing your buff on top to remove shine from nail surface from remaining product. Almost resting rather than pushed right in there. It would b easier to show you, but as someone else said - once its covered/mended, it'll protect it as it heals beneath the new sculpted free edge. You'll be suprised! x

I caught my nail two days ago and it bled a lot  so I sprayed antiseptic under the acrylic and kept it dry, and left it. Now the finger nail is on the mend and the pain has gone. tbh, I was scared to soak the acrylic off incase it caused more pain. I just gently file down the free edge once a day, put a plaster on the lifting acrylic and wait for it to grow out.

:Scared::Scared: You poor thing, hope it gets better soon

Hiya,
You poor thing:hug:

The best thing you can do is leave it as it is for a couple of days, keep it dry and clean..when it's dried up you can then soak or file it off.

Try the spray on plasters they are brill for little area's like our pinky's

I did it a few weeks ago, so know what your going through

ive had to cover it up now because after brushing my teeth this morning it started bleeding a tiny bit.i didnt really want to cover it up as i wanted to let it dry out but i kept catching it aswell so i thought it would be safer.it still really hurts aswell though so i dont really want to try and replair it incase i get half way through and have to stop because its hurts it even more.
i had forgotten how much this hurts as its been years since ive broken a nail this bad..x
