Just had a lady message me and she wants me to do her nails for her wedding which in itself makes me a nervous wreck as I haven't got much experience! She has sent me a PIC of her nails and they are badly bitten and this is what she wants! She said she wants them a lot shorter (to the end of her finger) and rounded. What shall I use? What colour powder do I use? Tips/forms? Help! Lol xx

I've done very short bitten nails with tips before and they don't last! You should probably warn her of that. As soon as pressure is put on the end of finger where the skin is longer than the nail and kind of bulbs (does tht make sense??) the nail pushes upwards, the lady I had with really really short nails all came off within days. You also don't have a lot of room on natural nail to build an apex so don't have a lot of strength. Not sure if sculpting would be any better. Also when is the wedding? Would you be able to work with her to grow her nails to either a length easier to work with or a length she wouldn't need extensions?

I will try sculpting but I'm not that good at it! Her wedding is the 27th and her nails are very very bitten so no wouldn't be enough time x

I would defo sculpt and don't do them past the end of her finger tips so there is nothing to catch/nibble.

Practice practice practice untill then- perhaps on your other half if u have one- get him to chomp one dead short for you to do it on and put solar oil on his nail plate and don't prep or prime- they come off dead easy that way. Xxx

they come half way down the nail, I have really short bitten nail and I use them and they last a few weeks they look like this (also my nails how poor are my nails with no fakes considering I'm a nail tech! the shame) and a photo of the end result 💅ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1407081123.728544.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1407081138.245326.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1407081160.689721.jpg
