Nail condition

Hi, I have a lady who has trouble with her nail growth. She said she can't let them grow as they grow into her skin and is very painful. She wants acrylics but I wouldn't have though that would be good. I feel she may have dorsal pterygium but I'm still quite new to the business so though I'd ask for help. Thanks I'm advance liz

I can't see anything from the pic however if she's stating that she can't let her nails grow then she wouldn't be able to cut them whilst wearing enhancements.
