Hi!
This is my first post, so please bare with me if I go wrong! :)
I am starting my nail business from home and was wondering what is the best LED/UV nail gel to use for good coverage? I have a few CND polishes, however having to put 5 coats on to get a good block colour drives me crazy!
I have found a superb top and base, it's just the colour
Thank you in advance!

Hi [emoji4]
Can you confirm which brand of gel polish you trained with?
CND shellac is great quality and shouldn't need 5 coats for full coverage if it's the genuine product purchased from an authorised distributor.
If you like the base and top coat you've found you should stick to their colours too and use that brands full system.
Mixing and matching products can result in service breakdown and also invalidate your insurance.

I trained with CND but since I purchased the products from home, they don't seem to be as good. I didn't get them from the company itself though, I got them from a company on EBay. They had 100% feedback and they sold the full range... I purchased 5 and non of them were that good!
The base and top coats I use are fab', the colours however aren't, again taking about 3 coats. I know this is the norm', I was just wanting to know if anyone had found anything more reasonably priced (as I'm just starting out) and maybe a 'one coat' system?
Thanks for you reply [emoji4]

Assuming you mean genuine CND Shellac I own every shellac colour made & ive never once needed 5 coats!

Save money buying in more products & put it towards a CND Shellac course run by Sweet Squared or one of its partners , you can then use what you have correctly. They may even come with starter kits/lamps (i did mine before the education changes so dont know) xx

I'd suspect they may be fake products.

Just seen you trained with CND... surley you were taught the impotance of buying genuine products from official suppliers & using the complete system?

Its not CND Shellac you are having trouble with- its the fact you are mixing & matching base/top & colour & are prob using fake rubbish.

you will see a difference when you use a genuine, complete system :) xx

(Edited as posted too soon)

Order a few colours off sweet squared or Ellisons, no shellac needs 5 coats.

They've sold you a pup.

Have you got the CND lamp?. It's an excellent product but not cheap to set up in and there's no short cuts.
