Nail varnish

Hello.
How do you remove nail polish without nail polish remover. To cut a long story short I painting my nails and got to the last one and it wouldn't go right then the rest looked rubbish so I went to remove it and had none left :-( help please )-:
Oh yet and it's 20 past 9 at night so I can't go out and get a bottle but I need to be out early tomorrow to HELP!!

I was going to say alcohol but don't think that's a good idea considering your age... can you pop into a neighbour for a lend?

paint another layer on top then wipe it off straight away with a wet cloth. Thats what i do and it takes most of the bottom layer off to!
