Names again!

Hiya.
So I settled on a name that I loved for my nail room.

Googled, and somebody about 40 mins drive away has the exact same name as I wanted. Including my first name.

Can we have the same name? Is it too close?

I'm gutted.

I think unless you're registered companies it's ok but the problem is whether people might connect you, or if she's not that good, might it reflect on you?

Exactly the same happened to me years ago when I was about to start up, I had my leaflets, bus cards printed and everything. I felt like you. They were only 2 towns away from me (15 min drive). I chucked everything away and renamed.

That's a lie actually. My kids used the back of the leaflets as drawing paper for years lol

I think they are good, from what I've seen.
I don't know what else to choose. Had my heart set on it. I just can't believe the person even has the same first name as me! What are the odds!

I'm trying to avoid the "nails by" name, but at this rate it's what I'll end up with!
