Hi need some advice, my mum is naturally grey but her mid-lengths to ends go very yellow with a hint of green. Have tried many different things from natural remedies (baking soda) to toning with violet toners. She uses all the silver shampoos and and clarifying shampoos. I have used igora royal slate grey which turned out too dark really and a real dull muted grey, but couldn't get hold of any of the lighter ones, thinking I should try the silver shade.??? I think the reason the hair goes yellow is possibly from her heated tongs and a reaction to maybe products that she was using for styling. Also possibly medication as she was taking tumeric for a long time. She doesn't smoke and is not in any smokey environment which I know can affect your hair. Can any one give me any advice as I am feeling stuck as to what else to try.....
