Hi, I was wondering if I could trouble someone to give me an opinion on some nano rings that have been fitted. Could anyone help? Thank you

Upload a picture and I'm sure someone will be able to help you! X

What would you like to ask about? Are they in your head?

Yes. I saw a hairdresser today who told me they were incorrectly installed and will be happy to take them out before damage is done I wondered if others agreed.

Yes I would definatley agree, I had quite a shock when I opened that pic, a quick google image search will show you what a correct installation should look like, they must be quite painful?

I'm sorry for the shock. Yes they are.

Here's an image I just got off google

I see. I guess my fault for thinking someone was a professional with their certificate.

No need to be sorry! You need to contact the person who installed them and request they take them out ASAP, I'm really gutted for you but that is the worst installation I've ever seen, the sections are awful! Just because people have a cert definatley dosent mean they can do the job propperly, you'll be best off in future going off personal recommendations for fitters

They have refunded the fitting cost but their person that has accredited them couldn't really care less. It was my treat after losing my hair through chemo.

Very embarrassed.

Thank you for your help

Aw hun! Well firstly, well done on getting through chemo! Secondly happy days you got your money back (although they clearly knew it was a bodge job if they diddnt put up a fight!) let your hairdresser remove them but keep the hair and ask another (recomended) person to re fit them for you, it won't have been a total waste then :) no need to feel embarrassed either, glad you asked rather than suffer! X

There is nothing for you to be sorry about you've come to the right place for advice! Can the hairdresser who said they need to be removed refit them for you? I bet you can't wait to get them removed if they are painful but don't let this bad experience put you off! I hope you get them refitted as I bet you've been looking forward to them for a while! Let us know how you get on xx

The hair was cut so is unusable but the hair weight was so long that is was making my scalp bleed. But I guess that's life.

Aww no did you tell the extentionist it's about coming through chemo? What I've picked up from here (I haven't trained in extensions) is that it all comes in different grams and obviously she didn't fit the right gram into the micro ring for your hair to hold and made it too heavy! With her looking at your hair from having a consultation she would of know this! Don't let this bad experience out you of tho! Not everyone is like this woman and there are some amazing extentionist out there who would do a perfect job if this hasn't out you off x

I did tell her yes. I'm just a bit sad that the hair is wasted. Anyway thank you all
