Need help dying my hair redish colour!

Hi there, im looking for some advice! I really love cherly coles new red hair!
My hair is dark brown, i tried using loreals semi permanent in "Black cherry" yesterday, but it didnt do anything to my hair? my roots look reddish but thats about it?
Can anyone offer any advice how to acheive this colour if i go sallys and buy the products?

You will need to get it done professionally, have ur midlengths and ends bleach bathed then coloured.
We dont advise to non professionals on this website
