I have been to 4 different salons and asked for these colour highlights :

Each time I have left with blonde highlights , so sick of paying and not being happy so I really want to try to do it myself. I have never used professional Colours before though. I know her stylist Uses Wella Koleston to get those highlights , does anyone have any idea what shade ? Also any instructions on how i use it would be very much appreciated. My base colour is Similar to hers.

Unless you are a hairdressing professional we cannot advise you, and hairdressers are like magicians.....we do not reveal our secrets!

As blue said, take in this pic to show your stylist, ask for it to be toned to this colour xoxo

I agree with the hairdressers comments here. Also, I really would NOT attempt to colour your own hair or give yourself highlights!! I am pretty sure it will end in tears! Just take this pic in to a hairdresser, and let them know in no uncertain terms, that you want this kind of toned down shade of highlights, or, they can tone down your existing blondish hilights to this shade. don't expect it to be absolutely, dead on, the exact same tone as the pic, but at least ALMOST the same. If a hairdresser shows you the ''colour catalogue'' with the little tufts of hair and says ''what about this one'' or ''these two shades mixed'', just tell them that you cant choose which shades they should use, as only they, as professional colour technicians, will know what RESULTS that any chosen colour or colour mix end up as on your highlights and its up to them to ensure that you get very near the result you asked for. (that's what i say anyway, when they ask me to choose colours, I just say that i know what result i want and its up to them to ensure that i get it)!!! If they have experience and are well trained, it should not be a problem!
