Need practice models-how to get them?

Hi all,

Am currently a student and need to practice loads and to get together a portfolio.

How would you go about a this... I don’t drive so would be difficult to do people on Facebook.

Was thinking of advertising on gumtree but wondered if gumtree isn’t the right place?

You could put a card on the notice board of a local training college?

Alternatively, you could always ask friends and family to help out?

Ask anyone and everyone you know to help out. It's not easy but yeah. I practiced on myself when I couldn't get hold of anyone to help.

I'd say friends and family! I have my own mobile business and am still training, but right now am only selling the services which I have been qualified in for years now. when I need models and practise to build up my portfolio on new treatments while training / newly qualified, I do free or heavily discounted treatments on my friends and family. Although, they do have to sit through and deal with me taking lots of pictures of said-treatment

I totally agree, I've seen so much improvement in my work because I've been consistently practising on myself
