Hello, I am currently using CND shellac but a lot of my clients are wanting neon colours. I'm aware CND won't do a neon range and there are additives that you can use as alternatives. But I want to add a new brand with a neon range? Any recommendations? I've seen Halo and Gellux but dont know if they're good and reliable for lasting! TIA xxx

I got the neon pigments from magpie and mixed them with white polish

True neon pigments are illegal for cosmetic use. This is why serious nail product manufacturers don't see neon products.

How come there illegal?

Both in the USA and EU, certain chemicals are banned for cosmetic use, as considered unsafe. This decision is made after scientists (in the EU this is the Scientific Committee for Consumer Safety) evaluate the chemical. In some cases this might include referring to historical animal testing.

There are "neon like" pigments that are legal, but if you compare side by side, these are less bright.
