Hi all

I am just about to open my first salon on 25th oct and was just wondering if anyone had any tips aboutthe following:

• how to advertise the fact that iam open
• what sort of little personal touches do the trick to keep clients
• and last one what sort of opening offers and promos go down well

You could do a leaflet drop in the immediate area to let the locals know or if you are in or near a town centre stand in the busy part and hand the leaflets to people (while wearing fab nails).
Can you get into the salon before you open it up ? if so get a big poster in the window so that everyone that passes can see it with your opening date on it.
You could offer a small treatment for free to the first how ever many clients that book an appointment, also loyalty cards go down well, clients love to think they are going to be getting something free.
