Hi guys, I’m booked up the majority of the time but I always panic this time of year as it can be a bit gappy in the appointment book. Looking for new clients but whenever I seem to get them, they want evening and Saturdays. I don’t want to work every evening and not see my partner... also I’m pregnant and I get quite tired come the evening. I’m trying to limit my late evening to 2 a week. How Can I fill the gaps during the day, working week? I’ve never found discounts to be particularly useful... what can you guys suggest?

i read an article recently about senior citizens having the most disposable income, due to their mortgages being paid off, good pensions etc.... maybe advertise a bit in local old age groups, send flyers out and that. do you offer special rates for senior citizens? we do on tuesdays & Wednesdays as it's our quietest days and as the years have gone on we have the same ladies who come every week at the same time on the dot for their blow dries, coffees and chin wags x
