The LED lamp is only meant to cure the Shellac base coat for 5 seconds, so don't worry.

Yup base coat is a 5 second pulse :)

Thanks people ....I shellac d my friend earlier and it lifted on 6 nails within an hour ......I obviously pressed a wrong button ....getting used to my new lamp ...xx

It pulses for 5 seconds with a one second break it between each pulse so that is correct

1 for all base coats
2S for shellac colour coats
3 for all top coats

Thanku. ...no idea why shellac lifted on 6 fingers from the free edge within an hour .....but redone and they fine now ....x

Noooo 2 of the redone nails lifting now ....how do I put a pic up here for u guys to see ? x

I'm on my third lamp because the first two broke I am not happy with C&D right now

Iv had my new lamp couple of weeks now and all been fine ....I'm gonna do another friend with the same polishes tomorrow and see what happens ....am totally bemused with this X. ..assuming it's me and not the lamp x

This happened after she had a shower .....so I redid them and it happened again after washing up ....within hours ...

If I were you I would make sure that your prep is impeccable before you rule out that it could be a lamp problem because my lamp literally malfunctioned as I was using it which then confirmed why I was having issues with my products. Perhaps you are one of those people that just cannot wear shallot have you thought about getting "nail fresh" by cnd to dehydrate the nail plate prior to your application. During my training they told us that if shellac just doesn't want to stay on your nails try using nail fresh and lightly remove the shine from your nails. There's a few things that I would do if I was you I would make sure the bottle is shoke up very well to ensure the product is mixed. I would put only thing layers on and make sure there's no pooling by the free edge or the cuticle or your side walls. Make sure your hand placement is sitting perfectly within the grooves in your hand is flat and straight. C&D just came out with a new topcoat called duraforce try it.

Sorry I was using my iPad is talk to text and it changed a few words even though I went back and edited it so I'm sorry if that doesn't read very clearly but I presume you'll be able to make out what I said

If you're a trained professional though you can always call the hotline and an educator will be able to assist you

Hiya ...thank u for that ....I'm cnd trained .....did use scrub fresh ...thin coats ....I'm gonna use the same polish and lamp on my own this morning see how that goes ...was X press top coat but iv been using that since I got my new lamp ....have nt seen duraforce yet ......will let u know x

Looks like you haven't capped the free edge? I always used to get the same problem on my right hand because using my non dominant hand I couldn't cap the free edge very well, problem went away when I got better at capping the free edge

Thanks guys xx
