Hi geeks, i am a little worried as ive recently started a new job in a totally different salon where all the products are totally different. They use wella colours and i just feel like ive really lost my confidence as i feel i dont know anything about their colours and which range to use etc. They are on about sending me on a course with wella but what to do in the mean time? ive tried looking at the wella professional website but it must be down as its not working , any tips on where i will find good beneficial info? thanks xx

Hi there.
Good idea to study the Wella color charts and get used to their numbering system. Their main colors are as follows:

Permanent = Koleston
Demi = Color Touch
Semi = Color Fresh

There are others including Magma, but I am not familiar with this.

The numbering system is as follows and is the same for all their main colors:

/1 = Ash
/2 = Matt green (Cool Ash)
/3 = Gold
/4 = Red
/5 = Mahogany
/6 = Violet
/7 = Brunettes
/8 = Blue (Pearl)
/9 = Cendre (Soft Ash)
/34 = Coppers

I had similar problems with the Wella Professional website. I then registered with the site and the problems stopped.
Its free to register. Just put in your email address ect ect.

Don't worry about the new products in your salon. You will get used to them and the Wella color ranges are excellent and very easy to follow.

Hi there I have never used wella but no people who love them, I understand how u feel I'm starting a new job taking on goldwell, It's a horrible feeling not knowing a colour range, but I just think be honest with ur team & ask there advice even if it's just to reasure ur decision. That's what working in a salon is all about
Hope new job goes ok
