Some of you might remember my previous threads. I left my job last november in my previous salon due to being beadly treated, and have been trying to find another job since. In that time I have passedmy level 3 hairdressing (0:

Well today I rang an advert in the local paper for a hairdresser in a busy gents hairdressers, and went their at 2 for an interview. The owners seemed really nice and i got on well with them, afterwards I expected the usual we will be in contact but no!

She said can you start tomorrow, I was shocked She then asked if she could put my certificates up on the wall. Basically the chair rent is £20 a day part-time thursdays, fridays and saturday leading to full-time. Does this sound ok considering I wiil have to pay bus fare of about £2 a day?
Im just pleased to have been offered a job xxxxxxxx

had my first day,and earnt the £20 for the chair by10.30. Went home with £40 today. The previous owner had run the barbers for 45 years, so there are lots of clients :Grope:xxxxxxxx

WOW!!! tresses good on you and congratulations spokky i just updated on my previous thread about the salon owner i left and was reading your story really horrible but yeah £20 seems spot on as people get to know you you'd probably be pulling in 6xs tat or more. so happy for you and good luck!!!:-x
