New shop....help!

Hi, I am just about to open my first salon and im familliar with slaon shortcuts software and i am keen to use sofeware like this in the shop, is there any other software that would be better?
And any 'must nots; i should know about before diving head first into owning a shop?

I work for Premier Software, so I'd suggest having a look at Premier Style or, if you want something simpler to help you get going for free, it might be worth looking at our new, free online scheduling system Salonlite.
