Hey!

I'm new to this whole industry and am just starting in bridal hair & makeup.

I've bought loads of new equiptment but was wondering with regards to straightners and curling tongs... I have my own pair of straighteners and tongs for my own personal use, do I/should I buy a new pair to use on clients?

Thanks loads

hey, I am a hairdresser and i use all my equipment on myself as well as clients. If i could afford to buy another parlux dryer and extra set ghds it would be better as i wouldnt need to pack and unpack my bag every day. I dont think there is anything wrong with using your own stuff as long as they are of good working quality. hope this helps x

Just make sure its PAT tested each year if you're using it on clients.

I would suggest investing in new for your business, it looks professional and you won't hav a chance to forget to bring them to your clients.
I always say you have to spend money to make money :)
