Hey everyone! I'm a new stylist and I'm starting in a salon, booth renting next week. I'm really nervous.. I graduated cosmetology school in December 2015, but I just got my license this month. I procrastinated on taking my state Board tests. I passed all of them the first go around though. Thank god! Any ways, the salon I'm going to work at has 4 stylists total, including me. I know of I ask for help, they will help me.. but I'm still nervous. I know all new stylists probably felt the same as me, but I feel like my school didn't teach me enough as far as coloring and color corrections go. I also don't want to look inexperienced when I'm working on a client and start asking other stylists for help. Any advice? Is there some where I can go online to learn more. I know YouTube and the such, but maybe there is a special website I'm unaware of? Haha. Any ways, any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Don't worry about asking other hairdressers for help! We are all the best fountain of knowledge! Asking on here you'll get a few different methods and formulas for the same thing and you'll learn new stuff! I always explain to clients that I still ask for advice because this is a continuous learning journey. You'll never know everything :). This website is great for help! Just ask away and you'll get so many answers! Even if the question is hypothetical, you can just think of a situation you may not know what to do, and we can answer what we would do individually :) hope that helps!
When I first started I used to ask the other stylists all the time to make sure, now I still ask them and on here when I'm not 100%. Hope that helps :)

Do not be nervous! After your first day you will be settled xx

Thank yall! I found out today that I start this coming Monday and I already have a client lined up for a bayalage. I'm actually about to post a thread to get suggestions because I don't have much experience with it.
