Welcome to Salon Geek

If you need any help finding your way around, please ask one of the Geek Guides for assistance in My Forum.

In the meantime, take the opportunity to look at the Tutorials, Articles, Social Groups, Blogs and the Forums, to familiarise yourself.

The search facility on the site will help you to find the answers to many questions but if not, please post them to whichever forum is best relevant.

Hopefully some Skin Geeks will come to your rescue and post some replies to this particular thread though.

Don't forget to introduce yourself to the Geek Guides and Staff in My Forum.

Hi,
I get mine as close to the lower eye line as possible without actually being in the eye! Even if they have long lashes, mine are really long and when i have them done they pop out of the pads all the time. (I have actually had to glue my lower lashes to my skin with eyelash glue before as the therapist couldn't get them to stay in the pad and I could see her panicking!)

I have found this with some of my clients as well, if you can buy some medical tape and just put a bit on the corners and across the nose if you need to. Its not very hefty tape so is quite gentle on the skin when you take them off! You will find, not everyone may need it, but it just gives you peace of mind that they wont move!

Hope this helps x

ps. I wouldn't try the eyelash glue thing unless you really cant get them to stay! - as its a bit of a pain getting it off

Hello,

I would not recommend using eyelash glue or tape at all!

I don't know what pads you use but I use salon system gel anti wrinkle pads, they have a stickiness undernealth. Sometimes these do slip up and go everso slightly in the eye but my clients are never uncormfortable. Could it be the pads your using?

Hope this helps and don't give up, they are worth doing and when you are good they can bring in a lot of money x
