I have a family friend's daugter who's hair I have been highlighting over the past few months. I've taken her from a dyed base shade of a 4 to blonde, with bleach highlights and toners. With recent regrowth showing, she has reached for Schwarzkopf XXL platinum, slapped it on her head & has yellow roots from her virgin hair. She's been on the phone, already using purple based shampoo, I have advised against bleaching it again, which she is keen to do. I thought applying a toner to counter-act the yellow was her best best, just wondered if anyone could share any advice on application & what they would advise?
