i had a colour a couple of weeks ago, and had a slight reaction. Went to docs he prescribed some cream and it went within a day or so.

i had no skin or patch test, although they did want to do 1 on me.

can i put in a claim? how much would i get?

cheers

Are you for real?????

Sorry if i sound greedy. But friends are telling me to put a claim in.

Is there a set of guides i should of followed?

I would suggest you go to a solicitor, we are here to advise on beauty matters not legal matters. Sorry

Ok thanks for the replies.
My friend is saying that all i need to claim is no skin test and a doctors letter to say there was a reaction. Is there no timescale involved in reporting?

This is unreal! Considering they wanted to do a patch test and you refused then you really don't stand a chance however I am not a solicitor nor have I dealt with anything like this so don't take my word for it but would of thought its pretty much common sense. Also none of us know exact money amounts you would get. This part of the site is for consumers to ask questions about treatments not how to sue us.

This thread made me LOL. You refused a patch test, had an itchy head, it went away. There's nothing to claim for apart from your prescription cost :-D

prescriptions are free anyway so can't even claim that LOL

depends where she lives - prescriptions are only free in Scotland and Wales, here in England we pay :( (unless on certain benefits)

oh apologies I thought they were free everywhere.

No wonder businesses go under when there are greedy people like, you were offered a patch test and didn't have it. How has it affected your life since? Are you scarred? Unable to work? Prob not, this is greed pure and simple

Probably a troll - so wouldn't bother feeding it with any more replies

I think this has been asked and answered.
A patch test was offered, and refused.
A slight reaction occurred, caused no loss of earnings and after a trip to the doctor for was prescribed cream which cleared it up.

Just because your friends say you have a 'claim' doesn't make it so.

As has already been said on here we are beauty professionals not lawyers, maybe you should have asked your question on a Law or Consumer Forum.

As I feel this could well get heated as even I get a bit het up over this compensation culture we now live in, I am going to close this thread.
