Im still playing about with the chrome effect and the results are ok. However I don't have a no wipe top coat so have been doing it with a normal one with these steps;
Prep
Base coat
Colour coat x 2
Top coat
Dry wipe inhibition layer off top coat
Chrome powder rubbed in
Top coat.
The effect is pretty chrome looking, but other people's looks a lot better! Is that purely down to using the no wipe top coat? Am I not sort of doing the same thing as using the no wipe top coat by wiping the inhibition layer off the top coat first (never used a no wipe top coat so have no clue!)?
Honestly, by the time I've got this cracked, the trend will be finished! Doesn't help I don't particularly enjoy doing them either lol.
