For Christmas my wonderful husband bought me a Thermal Spa UV nail lamp (from Amazon). I read the directions, did everything like it said to but it wouldn't even turn on. So I returned it and, after quite a bit of research, we ordered a USpicy crescent LED lamp (again from Amazon). I just got it today. Again, followed the directions and it was working! I got through two coats on each hand (so, 4 90-second cycles) before it shut itself off and now will not turn back on.

I am so upset that this is happening again. What is going on?

Hi, this is a site for supporting professional trained geeks.

We buy our products direct from professional suppliers so cannot advise on consumer products purchased from ebay or Amazon etc.

Lamps for curing gel products are usually purchased as part of a pro kit to ensure they are matched to the specific gel brand and are of professional quality.

Do you have any training in nail enhancements?

No, I don't. I am a makeup artist and I usually get them done but right now I am a single(ish) mom with my husband being deployed in Afghanistan so I don't really have the time.

I ask that people don't respond unless they can answer my questions. I know I should be going to a professional and I would love to. I didn't come here for a guilt trip.

As this is a Forum for professionals then it is probably not the best place for a question like this, even in Consumer Queries.
Check out Purse Forum it has a nail section where enthusiastic amateurs like yourself exchange views and advice.
