NSI Balance Finish Gel over airbrushing

Hi ...

few posts going around about topcoat ... just wondered if any of you have used NSI Balance UV 'Finish' Gel over airbrushed nail art. If so, would you apply the balance bond primer prior to the gel?

I've used it over handpainted nail art - but unsure whether it would work over airbrushed.

Quote me if I am wrong,

There has been a lot of talk about putting Gel over an Airbrush design. The word is that topcoat Gel only really adheres to a dull surface, so not really sure if that would work.

Hi Vicky,

Whenever I apply gel over airbrushing I always apply a 'normal' airbrush top coat first or the gel is likely to drag your paint and scratch it. I've used Balance Finishing gel over a top coat before and never bothered to use the Bond before and had no problems, but I might just try the Bond next time to see what the results are.

Is the top coat you're talking about the one that you spray from the airgun - or a top coat polish? If it is a polish, which do you use, and do you buff it before applying the gel?
