Looking for an updated cost on renting space in a nursing home. I supply all of my equipment and products.
I work 2 days a week there and one day at a retirement home. The retirement home charges me $150. For the month. That I am happy with.
The nursing home however takes 25% off my gross earnings. This sometimes comes close to over $500/month. It’s not an easy job at times. I deal with people who cannot hold their heads up or cannot communicate. I deal with clients who are incontinent, some are in a fetal position. It’s not an easy job at times. So I’m wondering how much some
of you pay?

I am sorry that I cannot answer your question, however do your maths and work out your income per hour to give you the reality of your actual wage. Take off income tax and see what you are living off.

Nursing home sounds a bad deal to me. When you look at your costs per client and factor in that each "tricky" client will take longer for you to perform the service and add to that you provide all the equipment and consumables, I think it is time for a renegotiation or be totally self employed and free from the nursing home.

Just my thoughts, make life easier and enjoy what you do. Make it work for you!
