I'm of a view a practical task cannot be effectively taught on-line or by distance learning. You need hands on teaching, assessment and correction. Someone needs to actually watch you do the msssage, apply the lashes, etc. which can only be done in person

Check with the course is accredited, don't just ask the course supplier, check with your insurance company, or ABT

I’m completely new to this but what’s ABT

I’m with @Trinity on this. It is unrealistic to expect to become competent in a skill that you’ve only learnt via textbooks. You need both theory and hands on training to become proficient in practical skills.

However, it clearly states on the website (as it is required to) This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification.

In other words, we’re providing you the equivalent of some of the standard Level 2 theory at a cost of more than £300. o_O

Not sure why anyone would want to pay that when they can get the same information from an official Level 2 textbook costing less than £30!

If you want a career as a Beauty Therapist, there is really no substitute for attending a properly accredited Level 2 college course. And probably your Level 3 too.
