hi geeks :) my hair is currently ombré with base 6 at the roots (wella 6/71). Before this I was blonde all over and only went darker as I was pregnant- long story short I'm planning going all over blonde again as I feel more myself like that. What would you say is the best way to go about it? I was trying to avoid going into my salon to have it done while on maternity leave as I won't leave for hours lol could I bleach with 6% then use a good toner? My ends were 88/0 but faded lighter as it was all over bleach I had before so it's just the darker colour at the top that's bothering me. Or am I better getting the top all highlighted instead?? My hair is in good condition and I have olaplex so thought about bleaching then toning with wella illumina but would love to hear different opinions xx

I definitely think bleach and 6% would work, or highlights, but I really wouldn't attempt this yourself. You could create banding in more ways than one which is harder to correct in the long run. If it was a specific area or a full head application of colour I'd say it wouldn't be half as risky, but to try and cover your whole root are with bleach without leaving darker patches or overlapping to previously lightened areas I'd say is going to be a very difficult job!
