I am opening a hair salon in a few weeks I am stuck for what would be a good opening promotion
Doing an opening day so ideally some thing to encourage people to book on opening day

From past experience, flyering is really good but to entice the people to take the flyer, you should give out an incentive such as a chocolate.

20% NEW CLIENTS OFFER
Half head + Haircut £95 depending on area as an example?
£20 pound off your first visit
Marketing is crucial for a successful opening day especially if you aren't part of a franchise who can advertise using SMS etc.
Maybe use treatwell apps offers?
Gather friends of friends and offer champagne/procecco on the first day
