Hi i always work with CND shellac however i went out and brought some OPI Lacquer just to give my clients more variety. Do the nails need curing the same as shellac?

Base coat 15 seconds color and top coats 30 seconds.. I cure darker colors 60 seconds

No

Thats fab. Thank you

Just so you’re aware, but you probably already realise anyway, if you’re intending to cure OPI GelColour in a CND UV/LED lamp, the output may or not be accurate and it could give rise to other problems such as allergic reactions followed by insurance complications.

I have tried these times however the topcoat is still very sticky after

Which lamp are you using? All the OPI lamps cure the products correctly.. If you're using cnd led lamp cure each coat on 2s or 3 setting hth..

Opi Gelcolor base, top, and color coats require 30 seconds each per OPI. The new prohealth base and top in the studio white lamp require 45 seconds while using the dual cure it’s still 30 seconds. These are all LED times, the Uv times are different.

And I second Noodles comment.

I'm having real trouble with Pro Health base gelcolor. About 80% of my clients are returning within days with chips or peeling. HELP! I have loved the OPI Gel color strengthen base, but this has been discontinued. Any suggestions for a good gel base coat to replace OPI Gelcolor base?

I switch back to the original base coat. You can try curing the pro health for 45 sec each coat.
