Hi Guys,

I just wanted to double check on this one before I go ahead. A friend had her nails done in a nss salon around a months ago now, they were removed about 2 weeks ago. Usual story of nails left with deep grooves discoloration, over filing, burning sensation at the time etc..

She's booked with me to have calgel overlays tomorrow, I think they obvz need some good tlc but can you see any reason not to go ahead with the service? She did have them painted red and I think some of the red is caught in the grooves. Not sure if the middle finger has some bruising?

Many thanks

I would say it is at your own discretion really, in my personal experience I have seen alot worse natural nails in result of clients using a NSS salon, they really don't look TOO bad. I mean explain the situation of it, and see if she has any sensitive areas of her nails. But I would do these myself

Thank you, that's exactly what I thought and said. I said that a dr can't do anything about grooves and bruising, only an infection and as your skin isn't sensitive, bright red, swollen or tender then I'd say you're okay. I think just because they were in perfect condition when she went in and now they're so discoloured on top of the red staining they look far worse than they really are.

I would give it a go tbh, all things considered they look reasonably sttong
