Hey ladies,

I took my acrylics off just before xmas to give my natural nails a chance to breathe - however a few days later I noticed that my fingers were itchy. They started to form little blisters which would then get bigger and scab and the skin would peel. They can be very be very itchy but the skin heels after a month or so until the next finger starts.

I haven't had a problem with taking them off before or when I went to the salon. Any ideas? I've been putting E45 cream on which seems to b helping - can't wait to get the acrylics back on!

Thanks :)

Have you seen a GP? I think you should get in looked at. I'd also recommend not having nails back on until you've resolved the problem.

Yes I saw the pharamcist and have been told to use Nelsons cream. Lets hope this works!
Least I can still do a pedicure :D x

Nails do not need to breathe!
This may just be a coincidence, unless you had them soaked off with acetone and you have had a reaction to that.
Did you have any problems when the acrylic was on your nails previously?

Could be warts my sister had this happen and turned out it was little warts then it would spread from finger to finger she went to docs and had treatment and is now cured.

Nails don't breath huni lol.if they are applied correctly you natural nails will always be healthy and strong.
