Outside sign

Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me .
I ran a beauty salon from home , garage conversion and was wondering if I need any planning permission to place an outdoor sign , above the door and below the window , on my property ? I would be my logo and treatments I offer ?

As far as I’m aware yes you do need permission through the council, plus Morgage lender/landlord approval

You’ll need to check with your council first of all because they all have different rules around advertising your business from your home, especially if you live in a residential area.
