Party lashes - another thread

I'm so sorry for starting yet another thread on party lashes, but I have seen two adverts this weekend while I've been researching on prices in readiness to design my pricelists, that have really annoyed me, but now I'm starting to think I'm wrong! Two ladies are advertising that party lashes / cluster lashes can last for up to 2 weeks if looked after.

Am I missing something? Party lashes are for the weekend, right? So how can they last two weeks? Both are advertised as £10 so they surely can't be charging that for express lashes. (I don't do express lashes just individual SP and party lashes but from my understanding they would be at a loss if it were express lashes). If they're lasting two weeks they must be using the SP glue, surely?

Am I wrong?

Don't worry you've got it right. I call my cluster lash treatment "weekend lashes" (for £15) and it lasts for a weekend but up to 7days+ if they're careful. I'll bet if I caked on the adhesive I use though I could get 2weeks+ from them (but they would be damaging and unhealthy for the lashes tbh) - I hope they're not doing this or using semi adhesive. Don't worry about the competition and focus on doing quality damage-free work and you'll be in there for the long run rather than a quick profit.
I'm trained in express lashes too but I don't like them, people don't come back for removals and that can cause damage so I don't advertise them. It if someone specifically requested them I charge £30 though x

The girl who does party lashes in my salon says she would advise a client they could last up to a week but she personally gets up to two weeks from hers. She wouldn't tell a client this as it would raise expectations and probably complaints!!

Cluster lashes can definitely last 2 weeks. We advise not to keep on for longer than 2 weeks but many people do.
