Hi There,

I am not a hairdresser but my friend is, she is not a colour technician though. I currently have an ash blonde/bleached hair and I want to put a tint/toner/colour on to get it like the Emilia Lily/Ellie Goulding Pink.

like the pic attached!

I am going to the hairdressing warehouse tomorrow to buy the colours, can I have any suggestions what would be best? I really like the minky baby pink look really dont want it to go neon! Also how long I should leave the colours on for.

Thanks in advance!

I have moved this thread to Consumer Queries.

If you are not a hair professional then none of our pro's on here will give out this kind of advice. If your friend is a hairdresser I would have thought she would be the one to buy your tint even if she is not a colourist she will have more knowledge than you surely?

There is a hairdresser warehouse where I live that is oope to the public so I am going to pick up the colour as she is at work! I was not aware that this forum is only open to Salon Professionals.

I was asking as I wanted some advice, she is not a colour technician just a stylist but was willing to do the colour for me I just wanted clarification of what would be best.

Us, as Hair Professionals cannot offer advice to the public as this could cause harm to you, and others.

Ok so your friend is a stylist, well not be to rude, but that colour is BASIC hairdressing, so she should know what to use, development time and technique, if she doesn’t I would be seriously worried about her understanding of hair.

I would go to a local college that has a hair department and get it done there, the trainee's would be accompanied by a fully trained tutor so nothing should go wrong, and that’s the best option if you’re on a budget.

You can also go to a Wella salon and I know for a fact they can achieve this colour.
http://www.wella.com/en-UK/salon-finder.aspx if you type your address into the Wella salon finder you will be able to locate the nearest salon to you.
