Hey I am wondering does anyone know of any product which removes fake tan as I use it regularly but hate having to wait for the old stuff to completely come off before I can start applying a new lot. Basically I hate having to go thru that patchy phase as it starts to come off!
Any ideas?

I am exactly the same as you I HATE it!!! drives me mad. I seen on here some advice about using baby oil in the shower with a flannel or damp towel, I've tried it and its ok, does remove it a bit but not that well, be wonderful if there was something you could use and it literally just be removed in one go and then you can be sprayed again, no casper white days then or patchy days lol!!

I'd appreciate some more answers on this one too....

Yeah I use oil in the bath to moisturise my skin and I notice that does encourage it to come off but it doesn't get it all off in one go. There must be something that takes it off cos celebrities seem to have a nice constant even tan! Lol :)

You can buy fake tan remover in chemists, st.tropez and rimmel both do one im nearly sure! I have never used one so im not sure how great they are :) x x x

Ooh thanks I might have to have s look in boots and try it out. Will report back if I do find any and if it works :) x

The st Tropez remover only removes tan applied up to four hours later

Ooh i just seen it around i havnt tried any but there seems to be a good few brands for sale hopefuly one will be good! Can't wait for my ezemia (the spelling of that word has gone from my head!!!) to clear up so i can wear tan again, feel like a ghost walking around! X x x

Try a tan removal mit which is specifically designed to remove unwanted fake tan and prepare the skin for the next one.

Tan Eraser

Just purely through trial and error I have found that exfoliating body brushes have the best result. If you soak your skin in a bit of body oil and have a bath before 'brushing' the results are better. HTH

I retail some exfoliating wash cloths which some tanning therapists retail to their clients for removing their old tans. Wash cloths are good because they are long enough to reach the back and all the hard to reach areas of the body.

I agree with this...put baby oil on body and leave on for about an hour....get into a warm bath and use the exfoliating mitts....it comes off very easily😊

Also if you exfoliate before tan and moisturise EVERY day of your tan that helps it to fade more naturally and won't patch....that is really important hth xxx

I hear the TanGo cloths are really good and have also tried just using a microfiber cloth (Tip from our very own Baggybear) dont use one that has been in the washing machine with fabric softener though. Damp it down and use as a mitt. It works a treat and you can get them from any supermarket.
