Pedicure for diabetics?

Hey guys. I was wondering what course I have to take or can take to be able to offer pedicures for diabetic customers. Any idea? Is it possible?

All good pedicure courses should cover contraindications and requirements for working on those with medical issues. Be sure to book an accredited course not just a conversion course.

Thank you for your answer. I took a course which was through or supported by the guild. When I asked first they said yes I can. I now got in touch and asked again. They said I can not file or cut diabetic feet. [emoji53] confuses now.

You can perform a pedicure just have to be aware of contraindications and careful not to cut the skin or cause an injury or burn the skin when doing a foot spa as healing takes longer and some diabetics can have reduced feeling in their feet.

Thank you Effi. In the course we went through foot diseases. I am aware of the problems with diabetes clients. I will have to ask insurance I suppose?
