Back in official action regards nails and beauty recently and already I'm getting asked by 'friends' for a free set, now if I offer fair do's but to ask is cheeky IMO!
Imagine me saying to a 'friend' work for 1.5 hours in your job and don't get paid for me o_O

Just fancied ranting and letting off steam to strangers, sorry. haha!

Yes, it is very cheeky.
Must say, that's a brilliant response and I think you should use it.:p

Already have, at first my response was 'oh I'm booked up' but one little diamond then kindly offered to come over at 10-11pm because I won't have clients then... I had no words so explained myself with the working for free.

Why is it people EXPECT it though. I'd never dream of it never mind to actually ask it's someone's livelihood not some hobby.

How accommodating of her. More front than Brighton.

Easiest word is no. Once you've said that you don't have to say anything else.

I have a friend who I used as a model for case studies I did for my training in eyelash extensions. Every now and then she asks for lashes, I tell her when I can do, let me know and we'll decide a price. She can never do when I have a slot free. I bet she could if I wasn't going to charge!!!
