can some one me i have booked a course in permanent makeup i paid alot of money for this. but when i try and phone the collage they never answer when they do its the same person. she said that i need to study a manual on this course and she will email it to me still waiting. this is with london school of nails and beauty they say they have a lot of places all over the uk. has any body heard or know this collage.

I've never heard of them but just Googled their site. Why did you choose to go with them and not one of the well know companies such as Finishing Touches or Nouveau Conture?

I'm guess that you paid by card, so call your bank and they'll get the money back for you if you're having no joy. xx

They web site kept coming up while searching. They have now emailed me the booklet that I have to study but have now set a date for the 21 feb. I paid cash through the bank transfer but some reason am hearing alarm bells thanks for your help.

Hi, I too am a newbie geek, but was a bit concerned to learn about you sending money, then receiving your paperwork to study with. You should be able to call a mentor throughout the week to discuss your fears with this company. I am a qualified permanent make up tech, and your losing confidence before you start! You should feel at ease and trust the company you are going to train with. As when you do start your practical you won't feel as confident as you should. If you can get to the Professional beauty exhibition in London on the 27/28 th feb, I am actually tattooing there. Come and see me and get a glimpse of what you will be doing at your training academy.
If you feel you were mis- sold a training course, then go through to your bank and explain your plight. By law you will be able to claw back monies paid to the company, as it will be if unmerchantable quality. Hopefully, you will get your money back. Then, do your research on a reputable company, as permanent make up is an absolutely amazing industry to be in. But, you also have to be good at what you do. The monetry rewards are very good too.
Hopefuls helps. X

Hi am new to salon geek as well and I love it. Thanks for helping me. I really wish I haven't booked with these people and your right I should have done some research I will be going to beauty show At excel I'll look out for you I have my training next Monday fingers crossed. Where are you going to be.

Did you do your training? If so how are you getting on? I will only be too happy to try and help in any areas your not sure of. I really hope your enjoying your work. I can always give you some real good tips on securing a booking for permanent make up. Yes its hard times out there, but people will always spend money to look good, afer all break it down over 1 year alone and the price of a couple of Costa coffees per week, will pay for their brows. I really apologise for the LONG delay, but I simply could NOT log in. Eventually I have managed to change my log in details and hey presto I can get to look around and read comments. Unfortunately there looks like theres LOADS of people on here bigging up certain companys!! and they are blatantly a big part of the business they are saying is SOOO good. I reaLLY feel this site should be for honest feedback and help each other as we are supposed to be helping each other in the industry. NOT promoting someones business. Well as you can see I really havent been on here and griping all ready...lol.
