Hi, I too am a newbie geek, but was a bit concerned to learn about you sending money, then receiving your paperwork to study with. You should be able to call a mentor throughout the week to discuss your fears with this company. I am a qualified permanent make up tech, and your losing confidence before you start! You should feel at ease and trust the company you are going to train with. As when you do start your practical you won't feel as confident as you should. If you can get to the Professional beauty exhibition in London on the 27/28 th feb, I am actually tattooing there. Come and see me and get a glimpse of what you will be doing at your training academy.
If you feel you were mis- sold a training course, then go through to your bank and explain your plight. By law you will be able to claw back monies paid to the company, as it will be if unmerchantable quality. Hopefully, you will get your money back. Then, do your research on a reputable company, as permanent make up is an absolutely amazing industry to be in. But, you also have to be good at what you do. The monetry rewards are very good too.
Hopefuls helps. X
