I am 50% grey mostly front and sides.
Been using 20ml 9.0 and 20ml 8.03 on roots only, trying to achieve a gold blonde, which has been sucessful, but lately not covering roots very well.
So tried 10ml 8.0 and 10ml 9.0 and 20ml 8.03 on roots using 20 vols peroxide , but noticed the roots and scalp are pinky, calms down after a few days and another wash.
Any ideas why this is happening ? Is it the heat from my scalp ? I do roots every 4 weeks.
I use Vitality hair colour.
Thanks for your help

Have you tried using 9/0 + 8/3 instead.
Sometimes 8/03 as a shade can throw off beige hues and sometimes beige can go a pit pinky.
Alternative would be to add a a gram or two of a level 9 green ash or a spot of green corrector.
