Hi,
I use Bio gel and have recently tried using clear of french glue on tips for clients with short nails then gel on top. Im not keen on tips but the finished result is great, its just so time consuming and fiddly.
However I have done two clients with tips.
Client 1 - I did hers on a Friday, by the Monday 3 had come off and by the Tuesday she looked like she'd been in a scrap.
Client 2 - I did hers last night and she switched a lightswitch this morning and one flicked off.
When I do gel on natural nail bed it stays on weeks. (Apart from Client 1 who is a picker and peels bits off). My Mums natural gel nails have been on since mid June!! So I know Im either doing something right with the gel or something very badly wrong when using tips.
The only thing that both Clients 1 and 2 have in common is they have both used Acrylic before and Im there first gel try.
Would their nails be weak from years of acrylic?
I know that if nails are in bad condition then the gel doesnt seem to like it.
Please help...... I now am disheartened and feel I no longer want to do nails at all. I love doing them but am now so gutted.
